First, I would like to thank you all for visiting this blog. Since I started over two years ago, traffic has increased steadily. While I would love to believe it is all because of my efforts, I know it could not have been the same without you guys, talking about the blog to your friends and sending me topic ideas.

When you are a blogger, one of the cool things to look for is your affiliate sales reports. Not because of the money it brings (shooting gigs pay me 900% more than writing blog posts!) but because you see people buying stuff your recommended. It is even better when they send back an email thanking you for suggesting product X or Y. It does not happen every day but, when it does, it gives a warm feeling inside because it make you feel useful which is the reason you started to blog in the first place.
My suggestion for you today is to take a moment and contact bloggers you like and thank them for their contributions. I am sure they will appreciate!
This being said, I would feel like a slacker if I did not give you some purchase suggestions. After all, tomorrow will be the official day for bloggers purchase suggestions spam-o-rama. Nothing new here, simply two books I feel every videographer/photographer should have. I have suggested them a few times in the past and will probably do it again. I love these books because they are technology/gear independent. They simply make you a better artist.
