There is some fresh talk that the new Canon 7D mk2 will be sent to the Olympic games in Sochi this month. The current timeline for the camera is an announcement in Q2 of this year with a release in Q3. Perhaps the camera will be tested further in Brazil for the World Cup? We sure hope to know more during the upcoming Olympics.
Previously rumored specification for the Canon 7D Mk2 included the following:

- Build quality like 5D3
